Pastoral Care Ministers: Caring men and women visit, take Communion to and help lend moral and spiritual support to parishioners who are homebound or in need.
Hospitality Coffee & Donuts: Prepare and monitor coffee and donut hospitality after Sunday Masses.
Parish Picnic: Help set up, serve food, help with games and clean up at the Annual Parish Picnic.
Scripture Study Group: Tuesdays at 9:45 AM, study the Bible and related topics.
Morning Rosary: Pray the rosary together Monday through Friday at 8:30 AM in Church.
Divine Mercy Chaplet: Pray on Monday at 9:30 AM in the Church.
Sacred Heart Novena: Pray on Friday, at 9:30 AM in the Church.
Weekday Funeral Luncheon Committee: Set up, serve and/o clean up at Funeral Luncheons in Greier Hall.
Saturday Funeral Luncheon Committee: Set up, serve and/or clean up at Funeral Luncheons in Greier Hall.
Parish Nurses: Provide free blood pressure screening, First Sunday of the month after Masses.
OUTREACH (Love in Action)
Spanaway Food Bank: Volunteers help the one week each month that OLQH staffs the Food Bank, Volunteers usually work about 2 hours a month; especially needed are folks with ability to lift grocery sacks.
Beloved Little Ones: Assist with making items for care packages for grieving parents of babies lost through pregnancy or newborn death. Commitment: one Saturday per month October through June.
Christmas Baskets & Giving Tree: Assist with preparing and distributing of food baskets and gifts.
Eucharistic Minister: The primary role of the Eucharistic Minister is to help in the distribution of Communion to the assembly and to greet parishioners before and after Mass.
Lector: The role of Proclaimer of the Word is to proclaim the Word of God in a way that people can hear and understand.
Altar Server: The role of Server is to assist the Priest Presider at Mass.
Usher: The role of Usher is to welcome people, assist in seating, take up the offering, straighten up after the liturgy concludes and give assistance when the need arises.
Prayer Line: Requests for intercessory prayer are relayed through a telephone tree.
ELEMENTARY FAITH FORMATION
Volunteers who work with parish children and youth must undergo a background check and training.
Administrative Aides: Assist with attendance records and prayer testing on Sunday mornings.
YOUTH FAITH FORMATION
Small Group Leaders:Help facilitate small group discussion, interaction, and prayer during weekly meetings.
Prayer Leaders:Adults assist with presentations, prayer services, events or provide transportation to various high school and junior high school ministry events during the year, such as retreats and mission trips.
Provide Snacks: Provide and serve snacks at high school or junior high meetings and events.

By Baptism, all are called to participate in the ministry of the Risen Christ and in the mission of the Church. This ministry is expressed first of all by the witness Christians give in their family, work place, neighborhood and community. Ministry in the Church is always in the service of others and is the result of one's gifts, interests and needs of the Church
RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION
RCIA Sponsor: Spend time with persons preparing for Baptism, helping them on their faith journey by friendly support, prayer, and attendance at some of the classes and liturgical rites,
Adult Confirmation Sponsor: Offer support, prayer, and attendance at the Confirmation retreat, and Rite of Confirmation.
Hospitality: Help prepare snacks for the break during RCIA and Adult Confirmation classes..
